Matinée Musicale Club met on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the home of Marjorie Fryxell at 11 am for a recital and lunch. After a delightful concert by performers Marjorie Fryxell, Mary Pennycuff, and Suzanne Bona Hatem and Richard Goering, we held an open board meeting, followed by lunch.

Marjorie Fryxell, hostess and pianist, played “Two Preludes” by Debussy.

Next, Mary Pennycuff, soprano, sang four songs by Franz Schubert, accompanied by Marjorie Fryxell.

Our final performers were Suzanne Bona Hatem, flute, and Richard Goering, guitar. They played the Sonata in E-flat for Flute and Guitar by Johann Sebastian Bach.
